About Dr. Michael R. Everett
I moved to Lehighton after finishing the 7th grade in Valdosta, Georgia. My father, Carl L. Everett was career Air Force and my mom, Jean E Everett was a proud nurse. While interviewing for my Eagle Scout Rank, I struck up a lifelong relationship with Dr. Howard M Cyr Jr. I was given a job as the office maintenance man and in time, I became a dental assistant for Dr. Cyrs dental office. After graduating from Wilkes College in ’87 (Magna Cum Laude), I headed south to the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. I graduated in 1990 as a part of the Gorgas Honor Society. Lehigh Valley Hospital Residency provided me a year of providing dental services in a hospital setting, expanding my medical / dental knowledge.
In 1991 I returned to Dr. Cyr’s practice where we merged and enhanced our dental experiences and knowledge. Through the Academy of General Dentistry, I have achieved Master Status, having achieved well over 2,000 hours of continuing education.
Dr. Everett is proud to be a dentist and is honored to serve all those in need, while supporting the local communities. He is even prouder to be a dad to Jennifer Everett (2010 Lehighton Graduate, 2014 Drexel Graduate) and Mason Everett (2013 Lehighton Graduate, Purdue Student). Feel free to ask me anything, anytime.
